How UBT CERT Started
UBT CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) was founded in November 2017 as Kosovo's first academic CERT. As a unit of the University for Business and Technology (UBT), we combine academic expertise with industry practices to deliver advanced cybersecurity services.
Under the umbrella of UBT's Center for Cyber Security and Privacy (CSP), our CERT functions as the central coordination point for incident response, research, and cybersecurity education at the national level.
Cyberlab — Hands-On Training
UBT CERT has built and maintains Cyberlab — an academic platform with 400+ virtual cybersecurity labs, hosted within UBT's secured infrastructure.
Students gain access to intentionally vulnerable machines and real-world scenarios, building practical skills across Red Team, Blue Team, and Purple Team disciplines.
